Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or CCI RCIS Must-Have: Previous charge experience and ability to perform various procedures Description: All diagnostic procedures, PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rota, impella, IABP, CTO) are performed. Structural Heart procedures including TAVR, Balloon Valvuloplasty, and Watchman. Electrophysiology procedures such as EPS, Afib/Flutter ablations, BIV ad pacemaker implants are conducted. Candidates should have experience with rhythm interpretation. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities if required. Must commit to working three out of five holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. All time off requests must be made upfront during submission. Inflexibility regarding scheduled hours may lead to contract termination. All required certifications and a valid state license must be held prior to employment. References covering one year of experience within the last three years are required. Experience with charting systems is necessary. Travel experience is required. Candidates should possess skills in accurate monitoring, baseline measurements, cardiac catheterization, and more. Additional procedures may include cardiac ablation, insertion/programming of AICDs, and temporary pacemaker management. This role requires the ability to maintain a sterile field and perform various cardiovascular interventions. Candidates should have the ability to handle arrhythmia induction and conduction studies. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role. Candidates must be prepared for potential on-call duties, which may include one call day per week.
